SOA Patterns: Service Firewall Pattern

Arnon Rotem-Gal-Oz published a draft chapter from his up-coming book on SOA patterns.

"Chapter 4  deals with SOA security pattern, and I've decided to release the "Service Firewall" pattern as free draft. Note that it is a draft and it can change by the time it gets to publication for example the Edge Component, which I published a few months ago already went through some extensive rewrite (maybe I'll post the updated draft..)

The Service Firewall helps deal with malicious "service consumers" and protect the services from several types of attack including for example XDoS (XML Denial of Service), malicious content, preventing leaking private information from the service etc.
