Tarari Selected by Secure Computing to Supply High-Performance Deep Content Inspection Security Silicon
SAN DIEGO, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- May 22, 2007 -- Tarari, Inc., the leader in deep content inspection silicon today announced that Secure Computing® (NASDAQ: SCUR) has entered into an agreement for Tarari, Inc. to supply security silicon and software for Secure Computing's entire family of Sidewinder® network gateway security appliances.
Tarari was selected because of its demonstrated ability to scale to network performance levels in the multi-gigabit range and because its silicon and software components provide a complete security acceleration and offload solution. Tarari's Regular Expression Content Processors are being utilized to provide full content-based security inspection, through a standard API.
